A few things I've noticed...
When I thought about the idea of having my own apartment, I was really excited about all of the things I would be able to do, like pee with the bathroom door open. After over a month by myself, I think I might be losing it a bit. While living on my own does mean that I could theoretically walk around nekkid (although it's much too cold for that nonsense) and press snooze as many times as I want without bugging anyone (which is pretty sweet) it also means that I spend substantial parts of my day alone or with my cat.
Today, I spent the morning pleading with, threatening physical violence to, and actually smacking around two separate printers at work. I was exhausted because I hadn't gotten a lot of sleep last night (apparently sleeping in two hours later than normal that day means falling asleep seven hours later than normal that night) so I was feeling a little punchy. I literally wasted the entire morning trying to get some fundraising letters out...guh.
Oh, and I signed up at Geek2Geek...a dating site for, well, geeks. Don't judge, I need local friends.
